The holiday season is upon us! Although this year our celebrations and traditions may be a little different, I think we are all looking forward to having a new season and some holiday cheer.
At Remedy we too have been holding on to some of our traditions (like our super cute in-store holiday decorations) but also contemplating how this year is different and what our response should be. As many of you all know it has been a difficult year for small businesses and while we have been lucky to stay open as an essential business, the pressure is real. It is in times like these that businesses most react quickly to changing needs of their community and customers. I am proud to say that our team has been working so HARD in order to do just that. In May we started providing curbside pick up to help keep everyone safer. Starting in September we began providing Rapid COVID testing and continue to do so on a daily basis, providing a much needed, fast and convenient option for local Little Italy residents and businesses alike. Starting in October we launched our online website which now allows us to provide the same convenience of online ordering and shipping as the big guys. And lastly, one of the things I am most proud to offer is our 2020 Local Holiday Gift selection. At Remedy, we always try and support our local economy and artisans by sourcing high-quality locally made goods for our store. In addition to supporting other local makers, this also is a part of our commitment to reduce our environmental impact. So this year I am happy to say that we have brought in more local brands than ever before, because this year it MATTERS. So please, this year when purchasing your gifts consider unique locally made items. Your friends and family will love them, and you can feel good about supporting local artisans and our small business.
